Dacia nemzetközi gyorsvonat érkezik Bécs és Budapest felől. Itt látszik csak igazán, hogy milyen meredek is a hágón felkapaszkodó vasút. A hágó, és vele együtt az állomás 1032 méter magasan fekszik, észak felé Brassó, dél felé a Prahova folyó völgyében Sinaia és Câmpina után a síkság peremén fekvő Ploieşti következik.

International express Dacia arrived from Vienna and Budapest. This photo shows well how steep the railway line was, which climbs the pass. The pass and the railway station of Predeal lies 1032 metres above the sea level, southern from Braşov and northern from the valley of the Prahova river. After the settlements of Sinaia and Câmpina the city of Ploieşti follows, located on the edge of the flatland.
